homemakers will meet on the fourth Thursday, July 24, for an 11 a.m. covered dish luncheon at Kitty Garber’s. Contact Helen Boldridge at 937-5238 should you have a question.
Rev. Clyde R. Woodard and the members of Maranatha Independent Baptist Church on Route 211 invites the community to worship with them during the 10 a.m. Sunday School and the 11 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is also welcome at their 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening service and Wednesday’s 7:30 p.m. service. Teen activities are held Fridays at 7 p.m.
Gerry Gentry of Castleton will provide the special music on Sunday, July 20 at the United Methodist Church’s 11 a.m. service. She will play a "Mountain Dulcimer” and sing a few hymns. Plan on attending to witness Ms. Gentry’s unique talent.
