She was bom Feb. 1, 1919, in Washington.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 12 at the Washington Masonic Cemetery in Washington with the Rev. Phillip Bailey officiating.
She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Washington Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son-inlaw and daughter Jack and Susan Sturgill of Centreville; one sister Mary R. Gardiner of Houston, Texas and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Andrew Curtis and her parents Hugh Jackson and Susan Ethel Racer.
Moser Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
