David Williams

David Lewin “Lew” Williams, 57, of Front Royal, died on Thursday, July 10 at his home.

Funeral services were held at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home on July 13 with the Rev. Jimmy Burke.

Interment was in the Williams Family Cemetery.

Mr. Williams was born Sept. 7, 1939, at Chester Gap, the son of the Minnie Williams Goranson of Chester Gap and the late David Williams.

Mr. Williams was a retired line mechanic with the former Old Virginia Plant in Front Royal. He was a member of the Chester Gap Baptist Church, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #829.

He was associated with the Fox Diner in Front Royal, and was a former member of the Chester Gap Fire Department.
