He said there are two projects underway to finish up what was started some years ago. The first is on the Route 231 end which entails tree trimming, pipe replacement and surface treatment. The other, on the Route 522 end, requires the same and a widening of the road. Both ends would be paved under the pave in place rule.
Carl Romney, spoke as a representative of the first group and said, “I have a written statement to the board to explain more fully what we’re thinking. Along with a good many of my neighbors, I (we) learned about this project when roadwork started.”
