Mary Susan Darnell, 96, of Luray, died on Thursday, July 24 at MontVue Nursing Home.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1900, in Washington, Va., and was a daughter of the late William J. and Ella Dodson Darnell.
Miss Darnell retired from Blue Bell (now Wrangler). She was a member of the Luray Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Page Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by two brothers James W. Darnell and George R. Darnell.
A graveside service was conducted on Monday, July 28 at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery by Elder Clifford Gleason.
