Mr. Jones was traveling northbound on U.S. 522 near Boston, Va. at about 10:20 p.m. when he lost control of his 1994 Chevy Blazer, over corrected to the right, then to the left and then again to the right, causing the Blazer to overturn.
Mr. Jones, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, was seriously injured and taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital and then to University ofVirginia Hospital, according to the Culpeper County Volunteer Rescue Squad. Virginia State Trooper M.C. Woodard said alcohol was involved and Mr. Jones’ ability to drive was impaired.
