Albeit, we’re not so organized so as to have to follow rigorous formats and protocol, we maintain good form, and I think (personally) proceed well organized. To insure that there doesn’t become a dictatorial form of organization, each year we ask for a vote of place, date and time. Annually we insist that someone else take our places to organize etc., but have so far been “re-instated” to that position. To include anyone and everyone who would make things work more smoothly and to benefit the cause. This year some of the old stand-byes filled in again, while some newcomers assisted too. Attending the registration book was little five year old Heather Lindsey. Jason Pullen once again attended the drink table. Sally D. Keyser was our florist, displaying two beautiful in-season wild flower arrangements. Joseph Dwyer gave the blessing before lunch. Caroline P. Mitchell assisted in the raffle drawing. “Dude” Settle brought his amplifiers and guitar, providing both aid in our announcements and music for our enjoyment.
