Research continuing
Just in time perhaps before the new century, we now have several other family searching for our roots. Theresa Dwyer Kelly, Colin M. McDonald and of course, Chrystal and Larry Payne.
We all now have Internet access. If you are on the net and would like to chat with one or more of us, let me know and I will send you our e-mail addresses. Personally, I’m in correspondence with one individual in Ireland and one in Australia. Finding the parents of our ancestor Thomas B. Dwyer (1796-1870) should be made easier.
From the bottom of my heart I’d like to thank each and everyone who made our reunion so successful. In fondest memory of our cousin, Christine D. Critzer who thought of the whole and saw to it that I received information she’d found in Texas while there before her death in January 1997. Especial thanks to the old ones whose memories are most precious and often surprise us with some info they might have remembered again, lb those who have found old photographs and other documents which they’ve shared. To the young ones who are the future of our family. Finally, to Nancy D. Gardenhour for donating gift items for our next reunion.
Our next year’s reunion will be the third Saturday in July, same time (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), same place (Fire Hall, Washington, Virginia). Until then God be with us.
