Aldie Mill is now open to the public for the first time on a regular basis since 1971. The Mill was built in 1807 and donated to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation in 1981 by the Douglas Family. The renovated five story brick Mill will open every Sunday through October from 12 to 5 p.m.
Iburs include a look at early machinery used to grind grain and other artifacts from the site. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to contact Andrea Brown at 703-327-6118.
