In other court business, the case of Richard Allen Bottomley and Rodger William Bottomley, both accused of grand larceny has been set for April 2. The two brothers are being represented by different lawyers and the attorneys want the cases heard separately. They contend the defenses to be presented in the trial are different. Luke wants the cases heard together.
He said the brothers acted together in committing the alleged crime.
Rodger William Bottomley is currently in jail in Manassas. Richard Allen Bottomley will remain at liberty until the trial date.
