The Rappahannock boys basketball team hosted George Mason in the district semi finals last Wednesday night.
The Panthers fell behind in the early going but were down by only two, 33/31, at the half. Led by Daniel Settle, who finished the night as high scorer with 20 points, the Panthers fought back. They outscored George Mason by 12 points in the third period. The game ended as a solid victory for the Panthers with a score of 62/54. Jason Baldwin was Second high scorer with 16 points followed by Ervin Phillips with 11.
