Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington will be sponsoring a Spring Garden Sale on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine under the big tent opposite the church. Come see, covet and buy beautiful Japanese Maples, Evergreen Azaleas, Virginia Native Plants, Rare Trees and Shrubs, Reblooming Iris, Herbs of many kinds, annuals and perennials, fresh Spring vegetables and strawberries. Beautify your gardens and help the Trinity Church Garden Guild build a stunning new Church garden on Middle Street in the heart of the village, opposite the famous Inn at Little Washington.

Spring citrus fruit sale set

The Rappahannock Band Boosters are currently selling citrus fruit for the Spring season. Red Grapefruit and Valencia Oranges are available and may be ordered by calling Sally Havstad at 987-8342 or Betty Thomas at 6753293. The deadline is March 9. Pickup is scheduled for March 19 and 20 from 2 to 4:45 p.m. and March 21 from 8 to 11:45 a.m. at the Rappahannock Coop.

Certification offered

Parents, early childhood professionals and babysitters can receive American Red Cross certification in First Aid and Child/Infant CPR. The class is scheduled for March 7 from 8 a.m. to '4 p.m., cost is $25. Pre-registration is required, the class is limited to 10. For information call Lisa Pendleton at 675-3237.

Second annual Transition fair set

Do you know someone with special needs? Could they benefit from information on financial planning, employment assistance, housing, college support, adult education, counseling, and/or parent support? If so, they should plan to attend the Transition Fair at Fauquier High School on March 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. Encouraged to attend are students and graduates with disabilities, parents, school personnel, arid anyone interested in the services available for individuals with disabilities. Classes at Oldway

The following classes will be held at Oldway Art Center in Sperryville.

Beginners fusing class, no experience necessary to make fused tiles or jewelry pieces Saturday, Feb. 28 1-4 p.m., one day class $45.

Advanced Stained glass class, six week session, meets Mondays, 7-9 p.m., cost $95.
