district finals. Since both teams were assured of advancing to the regional playoffs, this game was to determine the district champion and the number one seed for the regionals.

Despite playing a physical, hard fought game, the Panthers came up short, much to the disbelief of the large Panther traveling cheering section.

Early in the game, the Tigers built a solid lead with a margin of 25/10 with four minutes to go in the second period. By the end of the first half, the Panthers had closed the gap to 32/24. The third period started w ith a flurry of scoring by the Panthers, closing the score to 32/28.
