As of Monday, 43 farms in Rappahannock County had been signed with the county ASCS office to place 945 acres of allotment and base crops in the 1968 programs designed to reduce surpluses and strengthen farm prices of corn, grain sorghum and wheat. Taxpayers in Rappahannock County who are in the throes of preparing their Federal income tax returns can now determine how closely their personal deductions compare with the averages. Robert L. Brown, County Chairman for the March of Dimes wishes to thank all who contributed and those who helped in soliciting for the drive.
