Treat your friends or Valentine to a culinary delight of decadent chocolate desserts and Cabernets at Gray Ghost Vineyards. The event will take place Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 12 and 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for under 21 and designated drivers. Gray Ghost is located at 14706 Lee Highway in Amissville. For directions or more information contact the winery at 937-4869.
Presentation of
village concept
The Amissville Area Community Association will host Don Audette, author of the series of Rappahannock News articles on Virginia villages. He will speak on the village concept, what a village is and how it can be defined. His talk ties into the Association’s village planning process which was initiated at their last meeting.
The meeting agenda includes further discussion on the village, area enhancements and a draft pudget. In addition, an initial written “Community Survey” designed to determine the issues and priorities of residents will be issued.

Softball registration
Registration for girls Little . League softball (ages 7-8 and 912) will be held Saturday, Feb. 12 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department.
