ed itself for us, when not only one but two good neighbors passed by our clogged and drifted driveway and offered to help.
After the first snow, one Samaritan helped us by clearing out the long driveway with his truck. When the next winds and drifts obliterated his work we were again unable to get out, and equally important no vehicles could reach our house should that be necessary.
We were attempting to clear a way through, when another kind offer was made by someone who observed our efforts as he was driving by. His house is some way beyond ours, but he offered to go home and return with a tractor and snow blade. This he did, and in a short time we had access to the cleared roads again.
We would like to thank everyone for all they do to make life here so pleasant and worthwhile, and in particular our two village neighbors in Amissville. Thank you!
