The Artist-In-Residency Project for RCES - “Making Waves - A Diversity of Forms, Functions and Feelings”, will be completed and ready to be presented to the community on Thursday, March 2 at 7 p.m. and Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (snow dates Monday, March 6 for day times and Thursday, March 9 for evening).
The theme of this project “Making Waves” was chosen to inspire different ideas, perspectives and approaches in creating music, visual art, dance, theater and performance.
Approximately 375 children (all of the second, third and fourth graders and many of the fifth, sixth and seventh graders) have worked with one or more of the artists during the residency which began in September.
