Ordinances must not be overruled by ill-conceived state bills
Once again, Rappahannock County could be effected by a local grievance that has been carried forth for remedy by the Virginia General Assembly. Last year, Rappahannock and Fauquier counties lost the ability to use the special exception process when dealing with residential rezonings when House Bill 2324 passed both houses, going into effect on Jan. 1, 2000.
