Survivors include four sons, Dallis Davis, Welford Davis, Jerry Davis and Larry Davis, all of Elkton; two daughters, Anna Lee Hawse and Gail Davis, both of Elkton; a grandson raised in the home, Daniel Davis of Elkton; ten other grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, John Hensley of Stanley and Curtis Hensley of Elkton and five sisters, Wilma Burke of Sperryville, Louise Fitzgerald and Helen Lam, both of Elkton, Thelma Steele of New Market and Reba Collier of Hyattsville, Md.
Funeral services were conducted at the Bear Lithia Baptist Church by the Rev. Donald Leatherman. Burial was in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.
Memorial services were conducted on Feb. 2 at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Elkton.
