Irvin L. Kenyon Jr., who has served as Game Warden in Rappahannock for eight years, has been promoted to the area of wildlife management from the law enforcement division. Mr. Kenyon will work in the Apple Manor Wildlife Management area in Fauquier County and in the Rapidan Wildlife Management Area in Madison. He will continue to reside in Rappahannock. No successor has been named to the law enforcement position. These management areas are open to public hunting. The 1974-75 deer season, just concluded, put 352 deer into the bag of Rappahannock County hunters. Down by about 12 percent of last year’s record kill in the county, this year’s harvest was considered very gbod. This season now stands as the second best year on record and for the third straight year Rappahannock’s harvest has been in the 300-400 range. County Extension Office will sponsor a program on “Color and How to Use It in Home Furnishings” on Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. in the Parrish Hall, Washington. Mrs. Pete Luke
