Jan. 12 editorial in which you presented deer hunting and hunters in a positive way. It has been a long time since I’ve read such a favorable media presentation, outside of a hunting magazine.

It seems that the national and urban broadcast and print media want to focus on the worst within hunters’ ranks and to present our pursuit in a negative light, based upon ignorance or a political agenda pushed by radical animal “rights” or gun control activists. In many cases, our avocation is even mentioned in the same breath as Columbine or similar occasional incidents involving mentally unstable people who use guns to kill students or other innocent citizens.
