Besides setting legislative priorities, voting delegates heard from U.S. Sen. Charles S. Robb, D-Virginia, and former Virginia Governor George Allen, who are vying for the same Senate seat next fall.

During the three-day convention, voting delegates also elected a new member of the VFBF Board of Directors and re-elected four current directors
