Rappahannock School
BY: CAROLINE M.T. MASSIE The school I go to is Rappahannock County Elementary School or R.C.E.S. My school is always doing things to make my school better than it already is.
They always have nice teacher of all grades. Everyone learns new things in every grade.
We have five enrichments where we also learn a lot there, too. On Monday we go to Library. Tuesday is gym. Music is on Wednesday. Art always comes on Thursday. The last is com\ puter lab on Friday.
Our school has a lot of spirit. One thing is Blue and Gold Day where classes wear blue and gold clothes., shoes, even hair ribbons! You can dye your hair blue and gold! As long as you have blue and gold on.
i Our school song is “It’s Rappahannock!”. Here is the song: “It’s Rappahannock, It’s Rappahannock! The pride of every student here! Now all you Panthers, make all your chants heard, and raise a mighty cheer! We’ve got the spirit and you can hear it, so shout it loud and clear! Yes, shout hurray, it’s the Panther way, Hail Rappahannock, Hail!”
Our school has nice things to say on walls or windows every year like “Welcome Back!” when you are com>■ ing back from the long vacation.
Our playground is neat. We have a castle, pirate ship, play teatherball, two monkey bars, two swings and a soccer field. j
Our school is a nice school. I have fun at our school everyday. I like this school because it is fun.
