from home is a sort of pancake made with potatoes and ricotta cheese called “quarkkeulechen.” Although he has traveled in Italy, Great Britain and Eastern Europe he declares that coming to the United States is the most exciting experience he has ever had. Welcome Volkmar!
Stephen Von Fange, the son of Tbm Von Fange and Karen Von Fange has an older brother and two younger sisters. He has studied violin for six years and favors Irish jigs because he loves to play anything fast on the violin. He abhors competition and favors playing violin privately. He comes from a very musical family, his mother and one of his sisters play the violin and another sister studies cello.
Right now he thinks he would like to attend the Naval Academy. His favorite high school activities and classes include computer networking, the yearbook staff and history. For sports he favors skiing and soccer. He speaks a little Spanish and enjoyed a trip to Puerto Rico where he was fascinated by the culture. And he can cook! He likes to cook Italian foods, especially pasta dishes.
