Dannielle Marie Aveta of Centreville married Michael Carey Switzer of Vienna on June 19 in the formal gardens of Airlie Conference Center, with Jon Heddleston performing the ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a white sleeveless silk satin gown made by Scassi. It had a princess waistline, formfitting bodice with a sweetheart neckline and an open back with elegant buttons. The train was chapel-length with sparkling diamond rhinestones.
The maid of honor was Catie Charouhis of Vienna, Zeta Tau Alpha sorority sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Switzer of Viewtown, Va., Diane Saumenig of Baltimore, Md. and Kim Neblett of Lynchburg. The flower girl was Jessanna August of Viewtown.
