Because of contacts made during a referee workshop, our local teen USSF Referees, Aaron Price, Colin Treanor, Colin Nichols and Elliot Nichols will travel to Richmond in March to work at the Chesterfield Spring Invitational Tournament and Richmond Strikers Jefferson Cup Boys and Girls Tournaments.
The yearly conference provides attendees the opportunity to attain their Class F Coaching license. Both Manuel Garcia and Royce Rollins are now certified Class F coaches for both U6/8 and U8/10 levels.
The goals of RSL are to increase enjoyment of soCcer, to encourage player safety, and to provide equal opportunity to learn the game in a fun atmosphere.
Soccer registration continues through February. Players should pick up forms at the Rappahannock County Library or Elementary School Office.
