Director's report
•Library Director Shaffer reported that the final library state aid figure for FY 2000-2001 is more than $34,000 versus the $30,000 budgeted. He also noted that the Friends of the Library Fourth of July book sale netted a respectable $3,171.45.
Regarding the library's level of activity, Director Shaffer said that library circulation during the past fiscal year was 35,167, compared to a prior three year average of 26,703. The summer program is well attended: one hundred and thirteen have signed up for the children's program (thirty-five more than last year), and
