week long professionally run camps. They were trained in leadership and motivational techniques for their peers, marching and basic musicianship, top level drum major techniques, concert band and drum line precision cadences from instructors in each field.
The students attending the camps were:

Anna Kreyling, Lindsay Neill-Dore and Mike Wiese - Concert band, who also heard Dr. Tim Lauzenheiser, world famous band motivational speaker.
Ginger Dennis, Kayla Hill, Ashley Mills and Cadee Starr - Flags.
Jessica Estes, Bruce Flinchum, Nicole Hess, Erin Opseth, Lea Pyne, Jenni Starr and Glen Swain - Leadership and marching.
The following Rappahannock students earned top awards at the MidAtlantic Band Front Camp despite rigorous competition:
