Bethel Baptist Church in Reva is holding revival services this week through Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Jon Heddleston, pastor of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville as their guest speaker and the public is invited to the remaining service.
Novum Baptist Church will be holding Vacation Bible School beginning Aug. 14, more information will be announced later.
Vacation Bible School at New Salem Baptist Church with the theme "Good News Ocean Odyssey" will continue through Friday, Aug. 4 with a closing program at 6:45 p.m. There's still time to join in the fun with bible lessons, crafts, music and snacks.
Our deep sympathy is extended to Mrs. Mollie Slaughter, Mrs. Nannie Slaughter, Mrs. Hattie Slaughter of Reva and all other family upon the passing of their brother, I inwood Jackson, which occurred at his home in Philadelphia, Pa. last Saturday. Services were held at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Woodville on Wednesday.
Great birthday wishes go out to nieces, Betty A. Myers who celebrates today, Wednesday and Becky A. Tuel who adds another year tomorrow, Thursday and T.C. Cubbage III will have his day on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
