The Flint Hill Fireman’s annual carnival which was held last week ended on Saturday evening with rain throughout the evening but the carnival proved to be a success. The parade was enjoyed and well attended, as was the carnival by the young and old.
The firemen would like to thank anyone who helped in any way. ' Michael and Janet Vest, Leigh Gomez and children, Michael and Emily and Jamie fcnd Casey Vest, all of Virginia Beach were guests of Mrs. Christine Vest and attended the fireman’s carnival.
Rodney Vest of Woodville was a Saturday guest of his mother.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church has Bible study at the church on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
The public is welcome. Worship service is held each Sunday at 8:45 a.m.
