Activity heartwarming-perhaps it's
time for more community involvement.
After what has appeared to be a series of bumps in the road for the Hearthstone School, things seem to be both settling down and heating up. The impending takeover of the Country Manor building in Sperryville has squelched the critics of Hearthstone growth, and increased enrollment for the coming years bodes well for the success of this Waldorf-inspired school. Hearthstone does, however, have much to do, mucl to buy, and not much time to turn the former gift shop into an effective and nurturing educational facility.
It might just be the right time for a little extra community support—contributions of time, building and educational materials, and money may help ensure that the new Hearthstone home gets off to the good start that we wish for it.
