One of these lovely ladies will receive a tiara in a coronation ceremony scheduled for Friday, Aug. 15 in connection with the annual Amissville firemens carnival which opens Aug. 13 and continues through Saturday. New wooden street signs are being put up in the Town of Washington designating the streets and two additional ones will provide specified parking area for customers of the local bank. A summer project for area youth have included this work in addition to a cleanup project. Panorama Realty in Sperryville was offering a two story frame home including four bedrooms, large kitchen, one and one-half baths, living room, dining room and partial basement on over nine acres for only $59,950. Also listed was over three acres on Route 211, west of Sperryville for $11,500.

On Tuesday, as the exhibitors and their adult leaders completed the final clean-up detail at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, the participants looked back on yet another successful Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Show.
