Supervise & support all bridge functions by construction, repairing & maintaining bridges. Supervisory duties include assigning equipment & work tasks, ensuring work is performed safely & in accordance with maintenance standards, & determining work methods to be used. Conducts performance evaluations, counsels employees & makes recommendations on personnel actions. Performs bridge repair & replacement tasks, interprets bridge plans & coordinate repair work with field personnel. Manage budget & prepare cost estimates & complete forms & reports. May be required to work in emergency situations. Must have working knowledge of bridge maintenance & construction practices/procedures & supervisory principles & practices. Must be able to plan, instruct, & supervise the work of others; plan, prioritize, & coordinate multiple projects; maintain accurate records; & read & interpret standard bridge plans & sketches. Requires safety shoes. Experience in carpentry &/or concrete construction work will be considered a plus. Salary: $28,292- $44,171.
