The Hearthstone School is gearing up to transform the Country Manor Gift Shop in Sperryville into the westernmost Rappahannock County educational institution. With a closing scheduled for Aug. 4th, County okays lined up and renovation plans ready, Hearthstone still has a great challenge ahead of it.
Part of that challenge is renovation financing, and part of the answer is a raffle that will provide the lucky ticket holder the less than once in a lifetime opportunity to have dinner (with a guest) with the incomparable Robert Duvall. Raffle tickets are available for a tax-deductible contribution tof $250 each, and Hearthstone hopes that the raffle will raise $25,000 for its building fund. Those who cannot contribute may still obtain one raffle ticket for each of five tickets that they are able to sell.
