In a front page photo, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jenkins and sons James and John of Woodville were named the "Outstanding Farmer Family" in Rappahannock at the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District dinner meeting held last Wednesday at Graves Lodge. Except for his military service, Mr. Jenkins has spent his entire life on the farm in FT. Valley. He has a most wonderful orchard operation and derives all of his income from the farm. The house tour sponsored by the Rappahannock Historic Society on Oct. 18 and 19, according to attendance, was most successful and from observation, was judged to have been enjoyed by the 350 so attending. Five Rappahannock Webelos received the highest honor in Cub Scouting at the monthly Pack Meeting held Monday night.
