Janice Grimes Palmer and Michael Lee Besecker Sr. were married Sept. 30 at 10:30 in the morning by Pastor Larry Clark at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Stephenson.

The bride was escorted by Richard Miller of Rixeyville.

The bride is the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. B.A. Grimes, formerly of Amissville.

The groom is the son of the late Rodney Besecker of Chambersburg, Pa., and Wanda Besecker of Fayetteville, Pa.

The bride wore an offshoulder gown of ivory lace and chiffon. She wore an antique veil which fell from a tiara of ivory roses, baby's breath and pearls.

Her bouquet was an arrangement of ivory and peach long-stemmed roses, baby's breath and ivy.

Jesse Palmer, son of the bride and Hannah Besecker, daughter of the groom, served as attendants. Hannah wore a peach tea length empire dress.

Ushers were Michael Besecker Jr. of Waynesboro, Pa., son of the groom, and Jesse Palmer.
