RLEP ran a full-page ad in the Rappahannock News on a possible plan of four-laning major highways in the county, bypassing the villages. TtSs turned out a crowd that packed the courthouse to overflowing. RLEP sponsored public hearings on a revision of the county's Comprehensive Plan. They fought the Disney theme park near HaymarkeL
Recently, RLEP has held d series of public forums on sprawl and preserving traditional villages. A Nature Camp has been held eaph summer for many years.
And RLEP's "David Gibson Semmes Memorial Fund'' has been retained for major efforts.
