Bush-Alien-Wolf campaign

rally set for Saturday

Conservation Alliance to

hold October meeting

RCCA, the Conservation Alliance, will hold its annual meeting at the Washington Fire Hall at 7:30 on Friday, Oct. 27. The program will feature two current projects— a "buildout analysis" which will show the potential growth in the county and where it could occur; and "building practices' guidelines for living in a scenic rural community.

The current status of the Sprint tower application will also be discussed. Please come at 7:15 for refreshments!

Registrar's Office open

The Rappahannock Registrar Office will be open on Saturday, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day for the purpose of absentee voting. A reminder is also issued that voters will need to show identification at the polls this year.
