Myrtle Belle Hackley, 84, of Warrenton died Thursday, Oct. 19 at her residence.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Mt. Morris Baptist Church in Hume by the Rev. Lindsay Green. Burial was in Mt. Morris Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Hackley was born Feb. 12, 1916 in Amissville, daughter of the late John S. and Flossie M. Williams Wanser.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley T. Hackley of Forestville, Md. and Peggy A. Swatman of Warrenton; three sons, Willis F. Hackley of Remington, Gene Hackley and Roger L. Hackley Jr., both of Hume; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Marion Braxton, Elaine Metz and Mary Croft, all of Harrisburg, Pa. and Amanda Peasant of Dayton, Ohio and a brother, William P. Brown of Harrisburg, Pa.
Pallbearers were Chester Williams, Fletcher Hackley, Paul Swatman, Rogers Robinson, Jeffrey Hackley and Calvin Cook.
Royston Funeral Home in Marshall was in charge of the arrangements.
