• RCES P.E. Teacher Ms. Carol Nowakoski presented 14 Golden Shoe Awards to classes this week who had at least 60 percent of their students run the mile in the required time. The classes were: Third Grade: Mrs. Carol Johnson s, Mrs. Holly Propst's, Mrs. Karen Williams’; Fourth Grade: Mrs. Layne Vickers’, Mrs. Amy Saxton’s, Mrs. Barbara Wheatley's, Mrs. Linda Way’s; Fifth Grade: Mrs. Molly Bailey's, Mr. Chuck Way's Mrs. Lois Markee's; Sixth Grade: Mr. Mike Stout/Ms.Ren Dietel's, Mr. Paul Tieche's, Mrs. Sherron Boddie's; Seventh Grade: Mrs. Eva Atkins'! Mrs. Wheatley's fourth grade class had the highest percentage (78 percent) to pass tying the school record!

A special congratulations goes to all four fourth grade classes who "Passed the Mile". We are very proud of all of our Students who understand the importance of exercising their bodies as well as their minds!
