Benefit breakfast planned

A benefit breakfast will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Amissville Volunteer Rescue Squad building for the benefit of Randy Smith. Mr. Smith is a dedicated firefighter and fire captain of Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company who has been diagnosed with liver cancer. The allyou-can-eat event will be $6 for adults and $3 for children ten and under.

Benefit dinner planned

A country ham and turkey dinner will be held at the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company on Saturday, Nov. 18. Adult prices are $10 or $12 for all-you-can-eat and children under 12 can eat for $6. For donations and information call 937-4954.

RAA to hold meeting, elect officers

Rappahannock Athletic Association will hold its general membership meeting, including election of officers at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 at Bill Payne Auctions on US 211 in Amissville. Anyone interested in RAA'S Babe Ruth youth baseball, softball and tee ball programs is welcome to attend.
