Rappahannock News Writer ! Please attend the benefit breakfast at the Arnissville Volunteer and Rescue building on ^Saturday, Oct. 28. The breakfast will be held from 7 until 11 a.m. and is sponsored by the Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue Association. We need your help.
Randy Smith is the Captain of the Arnissville Volunteer Fire Department. He has spent the better part of 20 years serving the community through his work at the fire department. In addition to fighting fires, Randy Smith has been serving the area as an advanced life support provider. He is very hctive with the department in all aspects of its operation. His contributions and on-going dedication to our citizens has been invaluable.
Mr. Smith is battling cancer of the bile duct and liver. He has not been able to work for the 'jaast several months. Many in the community have extended a helping hand. All the members of the fire department are thankful for all that has been done.
