This is in reference to the article in the
Aug. 18 edition of the Rappahannock Neu's concerning the person shooting and disturbing weekend residents.
Guess what folks, shooting is a form of recreation to some, like sipping martinis and listening to opera is to others. Besides, weekends aren't just for the wealthy. There are some who can only afford one home, and can't buy another in some remote place to enjoy their lifestyle.
As for a noise ordinance, this isn't Fairfax and we are already over-regulated, over-ruled, and over-taxed.
What would an ordinance involve anyway? Will it mean that anyone involved in shooting sports and can be heard, will have to go some place else to shoot? Will the farm
