County stickers

now available

2002 Rappahannock County vehicle stickers are now on sale at the Treasurer’s Office. Your registration card or a copy is required before purchase of decal. Personal property taxes must also , be paid prior to purchasing a sticker. Stickers must be displayed by April 15, 2002.

5th annual Reagan

Day dinner slated

The fifth annual Rappahannock County Reagan Day dinner will be held on Saturday, March 16 at the Washington fire hall at 6:30 p.m. This year’s speaker is former US Senator Richard Schweiker who served in President Reagan’s Cabinet as US Secretary of Health and Human Services. Children of the

Shenandoah

The Rappahannock Chapter of Children of the Shenandoah will hold a meeting on Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library on US 211 near Washington.

Children of Shenandoah is an organization comprised of former park residents, their descendants and other supportive persons dedicated to the preservation of the heritage and culture of the people who once resided in what is now Shenandoah National Park.
