Six teachers at the high school received grants: Dani Pond for history review; Mary Arthur and Amy Hughes for culinary art resources; Laurel Van Horn for Pagemaker site licenses; Bill Hunt for chemistry equipment; Karen Sanborn for science equipment; and Amy Hughes for music library tapes.

Although the size of the individual grants varied, the total for these grants came to $3,400. Since the first grants in the spring of 1997, Headwaters has been able to award over $ 38,500 in grants to our schools for innovative projects.
