Deputy Clerk Supervisor

Grade 11

This position is responsible for the direct supervision of Deputy Clerks and participates with other management team members on all officewide implementation of policies & procedures. The position is responsible for ensuring efficient caseload processing, monitoring compliance with statutory requirements, the needs of the Court, other criminal justice agencies, and the public. The Deputy Clerk Supervisor is also considered an integral part of the workforce in case processing & all other tasks connected with the functioning of the office in order to provide timely public service. Selected candidate will conduct performance evaluations and coaching/ counseling sessions to meet developmental needs of staff.

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Substantial experience, or combination of experience & education, required in court, business or office which provides knowledge, skills, abilities in public relations, recruitment/ personnel management & evaluation, individual & group training expertise & advanced ability in word processing software, specifically Microsoft Office. Knowledge of judicial or regulatory requirements that affect court operations is desirable.
