Former US Senator Richard P. Schweiker who served in President Reagan's Cabinet as Secretary for the US Department of Health and Human Services will speak at the fifth annual Reagan Day Dinner hosted by the Rappahannock County Republican Committee.
The dinner wall be held on Saturday, March 16 at the Washington Volunteer Fire Department Hall beginning at 6.30 p.m.
The dinner is served potluck-style and free to the public. Tickets are required in advance and may be ordered by calling Walter or Susan Longyear at 675-3679.
Mr. Longyear. Chairman of the Rappahannock County Republican Committee stated, “It is an honor and privilege to have Senator Schweiker visit Rappahannock County to speak at our dinner. I encourage everyone to attend.”
