Rappahannock Lions Club, which is sponsoring Connie DelGrosso of Flint Hill as an Exchange Youth this summer, has announced that she will be going to Switzerland. This was her first choice of countries to visit and it has been confirmed.
The law firm of Puryear and Baumgardner has opened offices for the general practice of law in Washington. The firm’s resident attorney will be Doug Baumgardner, who is the son of Fanning Baumgardner, Rappahannock County’s Engineer and Ruth Baumgardner, a fifth grade teacher at Rappahannock Elementary School. He is a graduate of VMI and the University of Virginia Law School and maintained his office in Madison, prior to moving here full time. The firms’ senior partner, Edgar Puryear Jr. will continue to have his principal office in Madison County.
