< Public School System -'>*> Spring Break is just around the corner, and, when W© return, summer vacation won’t be far behind! -’riThe last weeks of spring always seem to fly by as we try to complete programs, prepare aludents for exams and SOL testing, compete in a variety of athletic events, plan graduation and so much more. 'r It has been suggested that perhaps an outdoor graduation ceremony might be a nice option for Graduating Seniors and their guests in June. At the last PAC meeting at the high school, the possibility was discussed Many parents felt that this would be a great tradition for Junior Class parents to start. This would free Senior Class parents for celebrations with their graduating children. v Each successive class of graduates would be treated by that year’s Junior Class par^ ehts. ■ ’ If this is to become a reality; it will require the coordination of two spaces in case of inclement weather. One uadoors and one out. The dedicated parents who plan the ©vent will also have to arrange to clean up after the ceremony.
