Irma Ney Lawson, 96, of Amissville died March 7 at her residence.
She was bom July 18, 1905 in the same Amissville residence in which she lived her whole life and where she died.
Mrs. Lawson was an active member and well-known resident of Amissville.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arma Utterback and Lou Emma Johnson Tolbert and by her husband, Howard C. Lawson Sr.
She is survived by one daughter, Ney Lawson of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Howard Lawson Jr. of Philadelphia, Pa. and Charles K. Gray of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren and two god-children, Brittney and Mark Fewell, both of Amissville.
Graveside services were held at the Lawson Family Cemetery in Amissville on March 10 by Rev. Dan Baliles.
Moser Funeral Home Inc. in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
